π Launched: Post Traumatic Growth Weekly Newsletter
What is the mission? Who is this newsletter for? What is the change we want to see in the world?
We have officially launched! πππ
Our Mission
1. π¦ To help people who are suffering from the psychological and physical effects of trauma see a pathway forward towards healing and growth.
2. π€ To ensure that whichever steps along that pathway they want to take are accessible for them.
Who is Post Traumatic Growth Weekly for?
β€οΈ Anyone whose life is ongoingly impacted by trauma, andπ¬ For every person who loves someone that has been affected by trauma.
What is the change we want to see in the world?
π§ For individuals and society at large to become more trauma-informed and trauma-aware. This is so that trauma can be more easily recognised and that help can be found in whatever format will be most helpful for each person.
π³ To address the social change which needs to occur in order to both treat and prevent trauma from occuring in the first place. Social justice and dealing with systematic problems are a key part in healing our society from trauma.
β° Making healing from trauma more accessible. Accessible in terms of the use of scientific language, readability and digestibility, navigating information. Accessible in terms of affording the privilege of healing due to access to finances, a supportive community and the privilege of regulation.
What does Post Traumatic Growth Weekly do?
π Every week we read a trauma or healing related book and write a summary with key highlights and actionable takeaways, released every Friday.
βοΈ A weekly personal essay on the various intersections of trauma, healing, adventure and social change, released on Wednesdays.
